Derba believes the top hand is the most important hand in the swing.
The top hand drill is where you simply have your hitters only use their top hand to swing with the other hand off the bat.
Your hitter should choke up a little more than usual on a regular size bat.
The mindset your hitters should have is to hit the ball back up the middle with a smooth and easy swing.
