In the video, Chase reveals how he keeps his front shoulder from “flying open” on the inside pitch and why hitters should load with your hips instead of your shoulders.


The switch-hitter was drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2005 and is currently the starting third baseman for the New York Yankees.
