Players that aren’t living up to your expectations? You have to get them pulling on the rope the same direction you are pulling on the rope. Sometimes a player may be underperforming because he’s not getting what he needs so he’s not giving what the others need.
What’s key then: make sure you understand what your players need. Finally, Valentine advises you take advantage of the technology around today and use things like slow-motion video so help your players improve their mechanics at the plate or on the mound.
